Mississippi Aquarium

Meredith Horn oversees the vision and strategic direction of education and guest experience for Mississippi Aquarium. Meredith currently serves on the Board for the Mississippi Environmental Educator’s Alliance. She is actively involved with the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks & Aquariums. Her role currently includes serving as chair of AMMPA’s website sub-committee and is a member of the Communications Committee and Education committee. Last year, Meredith traveled to Washington, DC, on behalf of Mississippi Aquarium, to present for a vote for AMMPA membership. In the last decade, Meredith has directly managed over 600 volunteers and has training experience with beluga whales, pacific white-sided dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, sea lions, and seals. In her last position, as Director of Communications & Marketing, her leadership resulted in consecutive record-breaking years for a 65-year-old aquarium. Mississippi Aquarium has been an incredible journey thus far, and she looks forward to continued success for the Aquarium, the coast, and the state.
