President Mark Killingsworth presided over today’s meeting and provided the invocation. The meeting was held by Zoom due to COVID-19 restrictions. Bill MacLauchlan led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Joe Bost thanked Mark for setting up today’s Zoom call s well as those who helped with today’s meeting. Lucy Sanguinetti then introduced today’s guest speaker, Kari Lynn Besing. Kari is the Director of Community Impact for the United Way of Southeast Mississippi. Keri joined the non-profit world after a number of career starts. She noted that her parents taught her that she could do or be anything she wanted to do or be, as long as she had productivity driven by purpose. At United Way she found her purpose. |
