DEAN DOTY • RIGHT TRACK MEDICAL

Dean Doty is Operations Manager at Right Track Medical Group. A Licensed Master Social Worker, Dean has provided care to individuals and families as a social worker, clinical therapist and interventionist. In addition to his work with patients, he has more than 18 years of experience in operations, management, and business development in medical and mental health centers. Prior to joining Right Track Medical Group, Dean has steered strategic growth and development, as well as providing administrative and clinical oversight in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. At Right Track Medical Group, Dean focuses on provider management and productivity.
MINUTES: October 27, 2020
President Mark Killingsworth presided over today’s meeting. Mike Ratliff provided the opening prayer. Bill MacLauchlan led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was held by Zoom due to COVID-19 meeting restrictions. Joe Bost thanked those who helped with today’s meeting.
 
Mark then introduced today’s guest speaker, Laura Hansen. Ms. Hansen is the National Outreach Manager at Smithsonian Affiliations. She manages over 50 of the Institution’s strategic partnerships in 11 states.

ON NOVEMBER 10: JIM COLL

JIM COLL • CHIEF COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER, USM

Jim Coll is The University of Southern Mississippi’s Chief Communication Officer, a role in which directs the University’s marketing and public relations efforts and serves as the primary public relations advisor to President Rodney D. Bennett and other USM administrators. In 2017, the Southern Public Relations Federation (SPRF) honored Jim with its senior practitioner award. In recent years, USM’s Office of University Communications, which he directs, has earned the Southern Public Relations Federation’s Best of Show Award, the Public Relations Association of Mississippi’s Judges’ Choice Award, and the College Public Relations Association’s Grand Awards for Electronic and Print Media, among other honors.  Jim is the current President of the Downtown Hattiesburg Association, and is an avid runner and triathlete who has completed the Boston and New York Marathons, and Ironman Louisville, among other events.  
CLUB ELECTIONS

The month of November is when we accept nominations and hold an election for Club President (2022-2023) and fill Board of Director vacancies for the next Rotary year (2021-2022). 

Committee Chairs for the upcoming 2021-2022 year are appointed by the incoming president. As mentioned by Club President Mark Killingworth in a previous message, the club will continue to employ Lamar Evans as its Administrative Agent/Executive Secretary, Will Sanderson has agreed to continue as Chair of Membership Committee, and Mark Killingsworth has agreed to continue as Program Committee Chair. 

If you have an interest in chairing or serving on any of the remaining committees please let Lynn Walton, Mark Killingsworth, or one of the directors know. Per the bylaws, our club has six standing committees: 

  • Membership—Will Sanderson 
  • Administration  (includes Program and Scholarship subcommittees)—Mark Killingsworth
