GEORGE BASSI • LAUREN ROGERS MUSEUM OF ARTGeorge Bassi has been the Director of the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art in Laurel, Mississippi, since 1993. He is a native of Leland, MS, and received his undergraduate degree in business from Delta State University and his Master of Arts degree in mass communications and public relations from The University of Southern Mississippi. He has more than thirty years of non-profit management and arts administration experience. George conducts workshops and retreats on fundraising, arts management, public relations & marketing, grant writing and board resources. He has participated in the National Arts Stabilization project and has authored an article for American Art Review. |
