SHANE CALLAHAN, COO, Citizens National Bank

Shane Callahan began his career with Citizens National Bank in July of 2000 after having held the position of Senior Network Engineer with the Boeing Corporation. With 25 years of Technology and Operations experience, with 21 being in the financial industry, he has always been focused on implementing secure automated solutions that will make community banks competitive with larger regional banks. As Chief Operating Officer, he serves on many of the Bank’s strategic committees, including the Executive Leadership Team, Product Development, Data Security Committee, and Asset and Liability Management Committees. He also serves on the Senior Management Strategic Automation Committee for Fidelity National Information Services and is also an active member of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center. Originally from Decatur, Alabama, Shane is a Microsoft Certified Engineer and a Cisco Network Security Administrator.

Shane and his wife, Angel, have been married for 24 years. They reside in Meridian, MS, where Angel is a real estate agent for Boyd Williams Real Estate.

MINUTES: July 13, 2021
President Lynn Walton presided over today’s meeting. Gene Owens provided the opening prayer. Joe Meador led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Lynn led us in the Four Way Test. The meeting was held at the Holiday Inn North and on Zoom.
 
Bill MacLauchlan thanked those who helped with today’s meeting. There were no guests.
 
Lynn Walton then introduced today’s guest speaker, Phillip Hendricks, Chief Investigator in the Human Trafficking & Drug Enforcement Administration. Phillip originally wanted to become a therapist and started working as a dispatcher at the sheriff’s dept as a side job.  He was soon bit by the law enforcement bug. He asked Sheriff McGee to put him through the police academy.

Lake Charles, LA native, Ashley Burgin, moved here in May to work at The Claiborne. She has been in Long Term Care/Senior Living for 12 years and managed almost every aspect from activities, care aid, business office, Human Resources, and billing. IN addition, she's worked in sales for 5 years and truly loves it. "I enjoy the sales aspect because it allows me to be a resource. I get to educate and help navigate people along the journey of senior living." She is a single mother of three who inspire her to grow daily, personally and professionally. Ashley's ambition is to become an executive director and a business owner.
