DR. JANET WILLIAMS, WILLIAM CAREY UNIVERSITY
Dr. Janet Williams is the current Dean of the College of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing at William Carey University. She has recently been honored as the Nursing School Administrator of the Year for the State of Mississippi by the Mississippi Nurses Association and the Mississippi Nurses Foundation who also recognized the William Carey School of Nursing as the School of Nursing of the Year for the state . She was also appointed by Gov. Bryant to serve on the Mississippi Board of Nursing. As a past chair of the Mississippi Deans and Directors Council she strives to achieve a partnership between education and practice in those roles.
