Yolanda Bronner- Wooten is a two-time graduate from Jackson State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s of Education in Early Childhood Education. Yolanda is certified through the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers (CHSP) and an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.  After graduating from Jackson State University, Yolanda moved to Southaven, Mississippi where she worked as a school Director for 6 ½ years.

Growing up, Yolanda wanted to be in a profession affiliated with assisting people, especially children. Yolanda grew up in rural Mississippi, Shelby, MS to be exact! Yolanda experienced first-hand living in low-income areas and seeing her friends and family struggle. Growing up with her story, Yolanda knew she wanted to study Social Work and give back to her community.

In December of 2014, Yolanda moved to Jackson, Mississippi to pursue a career with an organization she once knew, Mississippi Children’s Home Society now known as Canopy Children’s Solutions. Yolanda is currently, the Statewide Director of the LINK program with Canopy Children's Solutions. Yolanda resides in Pearl, Mississippi with her husband and daughter. For more than 17 years, Yolanda has been dedicated to serving others and coordinating services for children, adolescents, and their families.
