JIM PROUT, CHRISTIAN SERVICES
Jim Prout is the Executive Director & COO of Christian Services, Inc. Born in Hattiesburg, MS and raised in neighboring Petal, he also attended University of Southern Mississippi. He traveled the South East region pursuing his career in restaurant management. Returning to Hattiesburg was due to the unavoidable burden for hurt and lost people. Staying to his food and hospitality desires, he began to grow numbers and outreach through the Soup Kitchen at Christian Services along with developing the a Teen Challenge type of ministry that houses up to 40 men. After more than 15 years in the ministry, Jim and his wife, Maggie, have continued to stand on God’s promises, and are committed the vision of building up the body of Christ by breaking chains, bringing hope, and changing lives through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
