ELIZABETH VAN SANT • GOVERNOR, DISTRICT 6840
Elizabeth Van Sant became a Rotary Alumna in 1986, when she returned from a year in Cotabato City, Philippines, as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student from D7170 in New York State. In 2007, having moved to Covington, LA and becoming a Master Roaster of coffee and small business owner, she was invited to join the Rotary Club of Covington. Since joining, she has served in several leadership roles including Scholarship Chair, Foundation Chair, and twice as Club President.
In addition to being a host mom and mentor to Rotary Youth Exchange Students, Elizabeth is mother of two ROTEX: Ethan (who represented D6840 in Taiwan 2014-2015 and Egypt 2018) and Sofia (Turkey 2018; Romania 2018-2019). Her children are third generation Paul Harris Fellows following Elizabeth's father's example.
