Lieutenant Victor Estudiante was born and raised in Rogers, Arkansas. He is the third of five children, and their lives were forever changed when he and his siblings were chosen off the Angel Tree. As a child, his family lost their home to a fire and The Salvation Army provided the assistance his family needed to press on. This act of kindness grew into a deep desire to give back to his city through volunteer projects and community outreach.

He has a love for music and attended the University of Arkansas where he was a member of the Razorback Marching Band drumline while studying Education and History before the Lord called him into full time ministry with The Salvation Army. As much as he loves music, teaching, and calling the Hogs, he found that his greatest passion is serving the Lord.

Over the last 10 years, he and his wife, Myranda, have served in 5 different commands with The Salvation Army across Arkansas and Oklahoma with special focus on youth outreach and evangelism. The Estudiante family moved to Mississippi in June and oversee the mission and ministry of The Salvation Army across the Pine Belt.

Though they are only a short time into their ministry here in the Magnolia State, they want to express their joy and excitement in getting to work as commanding officers of The Salvation Army of Hattiesburg. They welcome your prayers and invite you to join them as they work towards meeting human needs by serving others in their new city.
