Division Planned Giving Director

Buddy Graves is the Divisional Director of Planned Giving (Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi Division).  Buddy began his fundraising career in 1990 with the YMCA in Hattiesburg, MS as the Program Director, eventually becoming a Branch Director.

In 1999, he became the Director of Development for Southern Christian Services for Children and Youth, a statewide non-profit providing housing and independent living skills to youth in foster care as well as adoption services.  In 2003 he joined the American Cancer Society in development and after a short tenure in that role was named Executive Director of the Jackson, MS metro market. 

In 2006, the American Cancer Society named Buddy the Director of Estate and Asset Services serving Mississippi and Louisiana.  During that time he attained many successes including the 2007 Nationwide Rookie of the Year, 2009 Distinguished Giving honor and was an annual top producer. 

In 2015, Buddy was named Divisional Planned Giving Director of The Salvation Army.  He and his team serve a three State territory.

Buddy attended Jones Junior College and received his BS degree in Recreation Management from the University of Southern Mississippi.  He is a native of Hattiesburg, MS and currently resides in Brandon, MS.
