Chief Anthony Parker serves as the chief of police for Hattiesburg Police Department. He was originally appointed in 2015, and was reappointed under Mayor Toby Barker’s administration in 2017.
Parker has more than 35 years of law enforcement experience. In addition to his current role, he has also held the chief position for the Crystal Springs Police Department, served as a special agent for Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and as a state trooper with the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol.
