The Rotary Club of Hattiesburg is a storied club in the community, dating back more than 100 years and including some of the best and brightest citizens in the Pine Belt. We have boasted exceptional leadership, both historically and recently, with a continued membership of successful professionals with a heart of service above self.
Our club has worked hard to update and improve our administrative processes and improve the way in which we conduct business of late. The process for invoicing and payments will improve over the coming months, members will have greater access to volunteer opportunities and communication, we will continue to provide funds to local non-profits in a way that is fair and transparent, and even our physical layout for lunch each week has changed to allow for a larger attendance. We are strong and poised to make even greater improvements in the months and years to come!
I am excited for the seven new Rotary members that we have inducted over the past month, and our nearly 60 members are now active and involved in the mission and vision of the club.
