Ronald Schwartz, Md—disentangleAD

Dr. Schwartz graduated from Columbia University in New York City. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y. He completed a neurology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y, and a fellowship in behavioral neurology at the University of Florida. A board-certified neurologist, Schwartz maintains sub specialty certification in behavioral neurology/ neuropsychiatry and is a certified physician investigator.
In 2005, Dr. Schwartz founded the Neurological Research Center (NRC) at Hattiesburg Clinic with a focus to integrate research studies into the flow of clinical neurology practice. Last year the center was renamed The Memory Center and continues providing clinical evaluations for patients, while also establishing a gateway for access to
leading-edge clinical trials. 
This year Dr. Schwartz formed disentangleAD, an organization to help support the care of Alzheimer’s disease in the Pine Belt region. Funds raised will provide grants for provisions like respite, home security/ safety, transportation, etc. In addition to fundraising, disentangleAD will be an educational resource for caregivers of those suffering from Alzheimer's disease and related dementia syndromes.
