Amy Lyon is the Director of Community Impact for United Way of Southeast Mississippi. She collaborates with partner agencies and other nonprofit organizations that work in education, health, and economic mobility in Forrest, Lamar, Marion, and Perry counties. She is motivated by seeing the needs in our community and finding effective and efficient ways to meet them. Prior to United Way, Amy worked for Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources for 11 years, working with homeless veterans in south Mississippi.

Amy is originally from Maryland/Pennsylvania, but has lived in the Pine Belt for 13 years and resides in Petal with her husband and 3 children--a toddler and two teens. She loves reading, being outside, and teaching Group Power at the Petal YMCA.
