THERESA ERICKSON, GREATER PINEBELT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

Theresa Erickson received her Bachelor’s degree in social work from Lubbock Christian University, Lubbock, TX and her Master’s degree in communications from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX.
Theresa has served as The Greater PineBelt Community Foundation’s Executive Director since 2009.  The PineBelt Community Foundation provides a simple, flexible and cost-effective way for civic-minded people and businesses to contribute to their community – now and forever.  The PineBelt Community Foundation, this area’s local Community Foundation, manages more than 160 charitable Funds – many of these are endowed funds that are set up for the benefit of nonprofits, churches and schools in the Pine Belt region.
Previous to working in the nonprofit world, Theresa served as the Business Development Officer at Hattiesburg Clinic for twenty years. In addition, because of her passion to enhance the quality of life in the Pine Belt region, she has served on many nonprofit boards throughout her career.
She is here today to talk about The Greater PineBelt Community Foundation and to educate others about how they can leave a legacy through their local Community Foundation.
